CLASS is hiring for multiple Behavior Technicians/Therapists within our organization. CLASS Behavior Technician/Therapist provide direct 1:1 support for children with autism in both home and community settings. CLASS is seeking to fill a part-time position!You're likely a great fit for us ifYou're fun and you like to hang with kidsYou care about helping people and want to do meaningful workYou want to see the tangible results of your work, in this case the progress that the kids you work with make over timeYou are patient and compassionateYou like to learn new thingsYou want to work for an established company with a positive culture that loves to promote from withinThis probably isn't the right job for you ifYou have never been around a child or don't like kidsYou do NOT like learning new thingsYou want to work from homePlease note this is a part-time position.Thanks for making it this far...now for the nitty gritty:Behavior Technician Compensation:Hourly pay rate is $19- $31 depending on experience and education.$500 bonus for current RBTs after 3 months of employment$300 bonus if onboarding is completed within 2 weeksCLASS offers the following benefits for ALL employees:Company-Issued TabletEmployee Assistance Program (EAP), Employee Discount Website, Smart Solution Plus Marketplace-Well Care OptionThere are medical, dental and vision plans for FT employeesCLASS Behavior Technician ResponsibilitiesSuccessful completion of training and minimum skills competency prior to working independently.Independently conduct 1:1 Behavior Therapy shifts (at least 2 hours in length per shift) using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.Provide 1:1 behavior therapy to children diagnosed with developmental disorders in various locations including client's home, schools, and other community-based settings.Implement programming set up by the Clinical Director or Clinical Manager.Carry out clinical tasks, assigned by the Clinical Director or Clinical Manager.Collect and record data accurately and efficiently in accordance with policies established by CLASS.Follow through with administrative tasks, including but not limited to responding promptly to emails/phone calls, corresponding with office staff, scheduling, time off requests, and completing time sheets.CLASS Behavior Technician Skills and QualificationsSpeak, write, read and communicate fluently in the English language.Enjoy teaching and interacting with children.Ability to maintain confidentiality pertaining to clients, therapists, staff and any other protected health information (PHI).Responsible, caring, and eager to learn.Respectful to parents/guardians/teachers.Excellent time management skills, communication skills and professional ability to receive positive and constructive feedback.Punctuality - Must be on time for all appointments, meetings, and overlaps.Applicant must have valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation to and from client homes.CLASS Behavior Technician Physical Requirements:Must have eye/hand/foot coordination, finger/fine dexterity and be able to handle/grip/squeeze and perform repetitive activity. Must be capable of transferring-vertical/horizontal, lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds, and be able to push/pull, stoop/bend, kneel, walk, sit, stand and reach.You made it to the end of this job ad.
