Opportunity:Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing
exceptional support to customers. As a Field Engineering Specialist
you will:
- Showcase your expertise in technical repair for Roche assigned
product lines.
- Offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned
territory.
- Provide routine technical support, on-site service and repair
of Roche products.
- Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related
issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system
failures.
- Document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and
focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.This is a field-based
role - the territory is within the San Francisco peninsula, East
Bay & South Bay areas.Travel: Travel requirement in Indianapolis
for formal training and co-travel within Northern California/Reno
areas for training purposes.Who You Are:
- High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or
equivalent military training or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing
mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless
networking OR a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or
related field plus 1-2 years of progressive experience repairing or
servicing complex mechanical/system hardware and software, or
networking/wireless networking.
- Successfully training or certification as defined by RD
Services Leadership and policy.
- Ability to travel, including some overnight travel, is
required.Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree in a
relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience are
required.
- Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems,
information technology, and basic chemistry.
- The ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide
support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong
customer relationships is essential.Relocation benefits are
available for this job posting.The expected salary range for this
position based on the primary location of California is $78,100.00
- $145,100.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience,
qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors
permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available
based on individual and Company performance. This position also
