Job Description:
Position: Head of Operational Excellence & Chief of Staff to the
CEOLocation: Based in San Francisco, with in-office presence once a
weekAbout the Role:We're seeking a highly organized Head of
Operational Excellence & Chief of Staff to support our CEO and
drive key initiatives that enhance our operational efficiency and
cross-functional alignment. This is a 100% Individual Contributor
role and not a Management position. This dual-role position
combines strategic program management with direct support to the
CEO, making it ideal for someone looking to have a broad impact on
the company's growth and success. You'll be a trusted partner in
building organizational clarity and efficiency, working closely
with senior leaders to improve processes, enhance collaboration,
and ensure alignment with our strategic
goals.Responsibilities:Operational Excellence: Lead
cross-functional initiatives to optimize organizational efficiency,
identify process improvements, and implement systems that drive
results.Strategic Program Management: Partner with Product,
Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Finance to drive company-wide
projects, ensuring they align with our long-term goals.Calendar &
Meeting Coordination: Manage the integrated company calendar,
coordinate cross-departmental meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure
thorough follow-ups. (Note: This is not an EA role; the team
already has an Executive Assistant on staff.)Process Improvement &
Detail-Oriented Leadership: Approach every process with meticulous
attention to detail, taking "personal offense" to inefficiencies.
Develop solutions to address bottlenecks and implement streamlined
workflows.Executive Advisory & Data-Driven Insights: Serve as a
strategic partner to the CEO, providing data-backed insights,
recommendations, and solutions to operational
challenges.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication: Enhance
communication across teams, promoting transparency and seamless
execution of company-wide initiatives.Delegation & Accountability:
Ensure senior managers understand and execute on key initiatives.
Identify and suss out the ability to delegate effectively and
follow through to ensure successful completion of tasks.Mentorship
& Development: Learn directly from the CEO and executive team,
gaining experience for future leadership roles within the company
